Mecca Masjid is one of the oldest and the biggest mosque located in Hyderabad, India. The mosque is believed to contain sacred relics, one of which is the hair of the Prophet Muhammad. The bricks were brought from Holy city of Mecca, that are part of the central arch. The mosque is adorned with Belgian crystal chandeliers. It is located close to the historic landmarks like Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace and Laad Bazaar.
